How do you greet members of your family?

I only greet my family morning and when I come back home. I say "ohayo" and "tadaima"

Are the customs the same all over your country? I don't think so. It depends on where you live and who you are around by.

How do you greet people who are important in society? I guess the angle of the bow is different. We bow a lot more deeply.

Do people greet people of the opposite sex in a different way? I guess not. I and people around me greet others in a same way.

How do people greet someone they're just met? I think we greet really nicely. It's more polite and what they talk about is also nice.

Do you hug members of your family? No. not at all.

the student from colgate university

I talked to a girl names Mica Medoff. We talked about the difference between things in Japan and the U.S. I was surprised the price of taxi is much lower in the U.S. It starts from about $2-3 she said. Also we talked about dating. The biggest difference is that we still have arranged marriage. That is impossible for her, but it is okay for me...

buddihism

I guess saying "itadakimasu" and "gochisousamadeshita" is one of them. We do it before and after eating meals. We join palm together when we do the action. The purpose for doing it is thank for the people and Buddha and the foods.

The 4 pictures of Pablo Picasso were stolen again in Sao paulo, Brazil on June 12. It is totally about $659000. It happened last December once. The criminal were arrested 20 days after the commitment.

As my opinion, I could say if the pictures were in this country, it would never happened. It would protected so safely. Also, if it was stolen one time, it would never happen again!

greeting

I greet people differently for different people. It depends on the age of the person, because we have to respect the older. I do touch people alot when I talk to them if the person is same or younger than me. It is my habit, and I think if I touch them, it seems like the relationship is close.
